Maker Space

The “Maker Space” itself is a combination of tool rooms with wood tools, basic tools, drills, saws as well as a variety of modern technological tools such as 3D printers and CNC machines that allow us to work on more advanced projects in terms of design and planning and to integrate them into general projects.

The “Maker Space” classes are designed to offer an environment to solve problems.  We find challenges and projects and we work in the whole process: researching, planning, designing and finally building the solution to turn it into reality.  This is what makes the Maker Space really work.

The “Maker Space” is a space to create; if you have an idea, a concept or a problem or if you have a need somewhere that you have identified, this is what we do here, we recognize that need, we investigate it, plan and look at other products that already exist, and analyze how we can learn from them, how they were developed and finally create some ideas that will become final products.  It is fascinating to see how a piece of recycled wood is converted into a final product, that is beautiful and useful.  This is a class to see how work turns into creations so I think everyone should have this experience and learn from it.
